Q. Can I make alterations to my home?

It is possible, as tenants, to make alterations to your home; to do so you must write to us with all the planned alterations. You must receive our permission, in writing, prior to any work beginning on your home.

Q. I have sent in a housing application - where am I on the list?

The housing application list is constantly changing due to people joining and leaving the list. You will be contacted by North Lincolnshire Homes' when a suitable vacancy for the area and property of your choice becomes available.

Q. When will my bins be emptied?

Bins are collected and emptied by North Lincolnshire Council not North Lincolnshire Homes.

Q. What improvement work will be completed on my home?

You will be contacted 3 months before any scheduled work - where our surveyors will then discuss with you any improvements that you are to have carried out on your property.

Q. What dates are the rent free weeks?

Rent is charged on a weekly basis. North Lincolnshire Homes provides rent free weeks for tenants for the weeks commencing December 22nd 2008, December 29th 2008 and 30th March 2009.

Please be aware that if you are in arrears, you will not be eligible for these rent free weeks.

Q. What should I do about rats in my property?

This is a problem that is the tenants’ responsibility.

Q. Can you install my cooker for me?

North Lincolnshire Homes' will only install the pipe work and cooker points; the fitting of appliances is that of the tenants’ responsibility.
