TODAY new figures have revealed that one in ten UK households are entitled to help with their fuel bills – could you be one of them?

The extra help you may be entitled to is worth an average of £250 for each household.
You are most likely to be eligible for help if you are:
- An older person
- In a family with young children
- A person with a disability
- Someone with a long term health condition
The Home Heat Helpline's trained advisers can provide people who qualify for help with access to one or more of the following services:
- Free or discounted home insulation
- Discounts and rebate schemes
- The Priority Service Register, which can provide extra services for people who are elderly or disabled (including bills in large text or Braille, security passwords and an annual gas safety check)
- Flexible payment options
- Benefits entitlement checks
